New code of conduct for all registered communication professionals

In August we drafted a revision that combines the current documents to create one which will cover all Communication Professionals. We are now pleased to announce that this revised document will replace any previous codes of conduct issued by NRCPD. This revised code of conduct will come into effect from 1 January 2010.

Draft complaints procedure for Communication Professionals

We have drafted a revision to the complaints procedure that combines current documents to create one which will cover all Communication Professionals. We greatly value the views, comments and suggestions of stakeholders on the draft document.

Lady Winifred Tumim

With great sadness we have learned that our Chair, Lady Winifred Tumim, has died. Winifred was a pivotal figure of many debates in the national Deaf organisations she worked with. She took the chair role in the newly-formed NRCPD on January 5 this year and had already made her mark.

Pay NRCPD invoices on-line

Invoices for those registering or renewing their registration as a Communication Professional can now be paid on-line. To pay an invoice go to the NRCPD homepage (www.nrcpd.org.uk) and log in to your professional account using the link in the top right hand corner of the screen. Once logged in click Pay Invoice and enter the requested invoice details. You will then be able to go to our secure payment screen where you can pay using your credit or debit card.
