Dear Registrants and Regulated Trainees,
The NRCPD Board has looked carefully at the impact that Covid-19 has had on the respective professions, and the wider impact that we have in our public protection role and we have decided that there will be no change to registrant fees for 2021, with 2020 rates applying to all registers. The exception to this decision will be the Sign Language Translator register, as we are adjusting the registration fees for RSLTs to be the same as for the Lipspeaker, Speech to Text Reporter, Notetaker and Interpreter for Deafblind People registers.
Current 2020 fee rates will apply to all applications (first registrations, renewals and upgrades) in 2021 across all registers, except the Sign Language Translator register. The adjusted 2021 fee rates for the Sign Language Translator register will apply to all applications received on or after 1st January 2021. The current 2020 fee rates for the Sign Language Translator register will apply to all applications received up until 31st December 2020. Administration and badge replacement charges will not change.
Please see the 2021 fee rates below:
|Registered Sign Language Interpreter:||£234|
|Registered Sign Language Translator:||£177|
|Registered Speech to Text Reporter:||£177|
|Registered Interpreter for Deafblind People:||£177|
|Trainee Sign Language Interpreter:||£142|
|Trainee Sign Language Translator:||£142|
