NRCPD is delighted to announce that we have successfully been awarded Lottery funds to enable the training of additional Speech to Text Reporters and Notetakers to join the NRCPD registers.
We will now work with Signature, Association of Notetaking Professionals, Association of Verbatim Speech to Text Reporters (AVSTTR) and the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters (BIVR) for courses to begin in early 2022.
We have been looking into routes to registration for the two professions for some time and are very much looking forward to welcoming more Speech to Text Reporters and Notetakers on the NRCPD registers, so that even more deaf people across the UK have unlimited inclusion.
