Nature of Complaint Complainant raised concerns around the Registrants' conduct relating to the booking of assignments, and that this conduct amounted to unethical and unprofessional behaviour.
Summary Investigation conducted into potential breach of Section 6.1, 6.2 and 7.2 of NRCPD's Code of Conduct.
Outcome Case Examiners decided based on the evidence provided, that there was a realistic prospect of finding an impairment of fitness to practise in relation to the allegations relating to breach of code 7.2 only, but that it was not in the public interest to refer the case to a Complaints Committee.

The Case Examiners decided that in this case, Mediation may be suitable. The Registrant did not agree to Mediation and NRCPD therefore referred the case to an independent lay person to review the decision and recommendation for Mediation.

The lay person upheld the Case Examiners decision relating to code 7.2 above, however it was felt that the recommendation for Mediation in this case was not appropriate. As an alternative, advice was given to the Registrant regarding the breach and their behaviour.
