Nature of Complaint

The Complainant raised concerns on several issues regarding the Registrant over several different assignments. Allegations include frequently being late for assignments, displaying an unprofessional attitude, and a breach of confidentiality.

Summary

Investigation conducted into potential breach of Section 1.1, 2.1 & 6.1 of NRCPD's Code of Conduct.

Outcome

Case Examiners decided based on the evidence provided, that there was not a realistic prospect of finding an impairment of fitness to practice, and it was not in the public interest to refer the case to a Complaints Committee.

The Case Examiners found that there were breaches of 2.1 and 6.1 of the Code of Conduct. They advised the Registrant to be mindful of their timekeeping and their commitments and highlighted how lateness has a negative impact on clients. The Case Examiners advised the Registrant to be more cautious about confidentiality and to not divulge any information that could identify another individual. They also advised the Registrant to decline any future work involving the service user.
