We are delighted to announce that HMRC have approved our case for registration fees to attract tax relief from 6 April 2018, NRCPD Registrants and trainees are eligible. NRCPD's name will appear in list of approved bodies on Gov.uk. For further information and advice about how to obtain a deduction for your registration fee, you should contact HMRC.
We are very pleased that six candidates have passed the Signature training course for Speech to Text Reporters. This course was approved as a route to registration and all of the successful candidates are eligible to apply to register. We look forward to welcoming some new STTRs to the register.
We are recruiting for a Registration Support Officer to join our team. We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills. The vacancy is advertised on our website and full details are available on request from kate.price@nrcpd.org.uk
Following the annual CPD audit, we will be sending you all some feedback about the audit. This is to help you understand what happens during the audit, and also what you need to provide if you are selected for audit and some general advice about our CPD requirement.
We are also busy making plans for the CPD review which will begin in November. We will keep you updated to how this progresses in the newsletter.
We are looking forward to attending the ASLI Going – Pro event on 5 October. We will be speaking to newly qualified and trainee interpreters about registration.
