Belfast Interpreting MA secures NRCPD Approval

20 December 2012

We are delighted to tell you we have a new NRCPD Approved interpreting course.

Graduates who successfully complete the Queen's University Belfast MA in Interpreting are now eligible to register with NRCPD. Those who complete using the language combinations Irish Sign Language/British Sign Language, Irish Sign Language/English or British Sign Language/English will meet the requirements to register as Registered Sign Language Interpreter.

We have stipulated that students on the course should achieve NRCPD Trainee status before they undertake practical assignments or work in the field.

We would like to thank Queen's University Belfast School of Modern Languages for working with us to complete the approval process and look forward to welcoming their graduates on to the register.
